Brief
Strut is a collaborative writing platform that combines notes, documents, and projects in one unified workspace. The product already had an MVP, but the experience felt raw — functional, yet lacking the clarity and flow needed for real creative work.
I was brought in to refine the UI and overall web app experience. My focus was on improving layout logic, visual balance, and interaction rhythm — creating an interface that feels lighter, calmer, and more intuitive to use. Each change aimed to make writing and organizing feel seamless, not segmented.
